Hello Pam, this looks like your seedling? Can you tell me more about it please? Is it stingy with blooms? How large has it gotten? Anything else I should now. The photo of it is gorgeous!

Hi Vettin. Flagrant is a seeding of General MacArthur. It has turned out to be a small climber, probably a good pillar rose. It has a lovely fragrance. After the spring bloom it doesn't bloom heavily. It acts like a lot of HPs. It's not especially disease resistant but isn't overcome by fungus. I'm pleased that you have expressed an interest in it.

Thank you! Do you have any more photos by any chance?

My photos are kind of in disarray right now as I change computers. I could go out and take a new photo but I'm going away over night and will have to wait til tomorrow.

When I went out to take a photo I wasn't thrilled with the blooms that were there. Were you referring to the HMF photo or something else? I thought i put a photo of it in my "Look Up" post but I can't remember. Here is the HMF link if you haven't seen it.

The hmf photo is gorgeous. And it sounds like all other roses it is not always picture perfect :) thank you for all the trouble you went to.

Beautiful rose, Pamela. Does the Sacramento Cemetery have a specimen? Hint hint. Diane
|
It was on Vintage's list - I did not order anything because of an upcoming move in a couple of years ...

I'm glad you like it Vettn. Diane, I think the cemetery wants found roses. Flagrant is a seedling I grew myself.
