I transplanted the Squire and White Cap this weekend. (At least that is what I think they are - did not do a great job of labeling). They had stayed very small and we're not in an area of the yard conducive to growing roses, now in a much more suitable area. Ok to fertilize them with neptunes seaweed or will I burn the roots? How long do I need to wait before fertilizing them?

Wait until they bloom. Someone once compared feeding stressed plants to forcing a sick person to eat Thanksgiving dinner.

Any 'organic' fertiliser will take some time to break down in the soil for the nutrients to be available to plants. Seaweed is also relatively weak in nutrient content. I would not hesitate to apply it now. Stuff like this are often applied even just before planting. Care must be taken with mineral fertilisers and also with fresh animal manures (due to their readily available N content in root burning forms coming from included urine). Nik
