. . has become incredibly beautiful and hard to describe. Till now it was mostly pink and disappointing. Not because it wasn't an attractive rose, but because it spoiled my color scheme. It is now a color that goes beyond my expectations. It almost glows, and has people stopping in their tracks, asking about it. The twilight picture below does not capture the wonderful complexity of color, but I just can't seem to get by during the day with camera in hand, so I'm posting what I have.

So lovely and romantic! It made me think of a ballerina taking a bow after a performance . I also have this rose but it's small. Looking forward to it grown up. I feel like our cameras do not do roses justice. My tamora is just glowing , I recently bought golden celebration and even tho I've seen pics , in person I just love how it lights up!

Pat, thanks for sharing your lovely picture. Yours is actually closer to what I see when I'm there in daylight, but in twilight shots the colors are greyed down some. Lilyfinch, your ballerina description is so coincidental, since my Alnwick blooms quite remind me of a ballerina's tutu. The colors of both these roses now spin me around, and I love that they're neighbors, with only the deep burgundy of Tradescant between them.

Not the best picture, but this was at least taken in daylight, and depicts the colors more accurately. I'm loving this rose more and more every day! jannike
