Heirloom Roses for Humpty Dumpty House

Our new roses have arrived from Heirloom, and I'm so excited! They were extremely well packed in an aerated box with convenient perforations that allowed me to unpack the roses without having to search for scissors. These are bands, but they're very full, and look like miniature shrubs. I've only seen bands a couple of times before from a different vendor, and they were always quite sparse, so I'm very pleased with these. We got:

Souvenir de la Malmaison
The Fawn
Madame Alfred Carriere

SdlM and The Fawn went into the ground in "test spots" (they're auditioning for permanent placement), and Madame was planted in a pot and set into the dreaded "waiting area".

Thank you everyone, for helping me make these selections. We have a break in our triple digit temps, so hopefully it won't be too bad planting them this late. I planted all the Austin bare roots during temperatures in the mid nineties, and every one of them is putting on a stellar performance.

So glad to hear your roses came in such wonderful shape!
It's nice when it's a good surprise and not a bad one!

I recently placed two orders with heirloom - my first order should be here any day. Hoping mine are as healthy as yours! :)

Michaela, I wish you the best of luck with your roses. I've found the people at Heirloom very helpful, and I'm so pleased to have roses that look like small shrubs rather than cuttings. I can't wait to see Souvenir de la Malmaison and the others to grow into the gorgeous roses I've seen pictured on this forum.
