Can you ID my favorite mystery pink/lavender?

This is the one rose in my garden where I don't know the name or origin. It was already mature 20 years ago when we moved in. The other roses in the garden were standard issue roses (Mon Cheri, Sarabande, JFK etc), so I don't think it is an OGR but it should be an heirloom! I've never seen one exactly like it.

I keep my roses big- this one is standing over 6' tall. No new canes in around 10 years, but it marches along.

Beautiful buds, opening to somewhat flat and frilled lavender-pink blossoms, held slightly drooping down, intensely fragrant. Stops people on the street- WOW scent.

Here is another look at the bush:

Is it really lavender, or more of a silvery pink? The shape, scent, apparent height, weak peduncles all remind me of Sweet Surrender. Kim

Here is a link that might be useful: Sweet Surrender

How large are the blooms? Is it very thorny? Does it bloom repeatedly? To me it looks to have more and frillier petals than Sweet Surrender...Any additional information you can provide could help.

Thanks for the reply.
Blooms are around 4 inches when opened up, I'd say. The biggest flush is definitely in the spring, where it is not the earliest nor the latest of my 20 roses. It will have fewer blossoms all through the summer, but does not "always" have blooms on it like some of my others. Never a really profuse cover of blooms like a lot of my others. It has thorns, but not really "few" like Crepuscule, nor tons like Brandy. It is chugging along in sub-optimal conditions- not enough water in heat of summer, and so the foliage isn't usually very pretty. Drier, and certainly darker and definitely more coarse foliage than the Graham Thomas next to it.
I have moved now to a neighboring town, but will try to go over an get some shots of the plant and thorns. I will definitely try to propagate it from a cutting, although wasn't successful on my first try this last November.
