No such thing as green ladybugs...why didn't I know this?!

Feeling pretty stupid today. I learned what cucumber beetles are...and what they are not! Another pest in my garden...lovely.

Yes, I get the cuke bugs too. Usually they're much later in the season though.

Once you begin pimping pollen, the cucumber beetles become arch enemies. They eat the stamen, anthers and pollen before I have a chance at it. Hateful things! Kim

I also hate cucumber beetles, and thrips. I guess I dislike all of the bad guys. Ants may be at the top of my list.

However, putting everything into perspective, it is spring, and there is no ice or freezing weather. All is well.
