Rose id forum

There are a few new posts (not mine) with no responses for what look like very popular roses, just ones I am not as familiar with. If anyone has a few extra minutes maybe you can help posters out to encourage/enable them. I know when I first started posting here the response is what helped me and encouraged me which in turn led to more rose purchases that support our rose nurseries...thank you

Thank you! The guessing/research is also getting addictive

Vettin,

It is addictive, isn't it? I've been following Jackie's rose, the one that is not New Dawn, from the beginning of her posting. I do love a good mystery!

I try to pop over to the ID Forum now and then, but do so with less regularity than I could sans toddler. I know some roses quite well and try to share what I can offer but often don't have the depth or breadth of experience to ID the many cultivars which show up. However, there are some ID geniuses on the Antique Rose Forum. Kim Rupert has identified roses he's never seen!

I do try to get over there at least once a week to see if I can make any suggestions. It's fun but it's also hard on some of them because there are just so many possibilities.
