Yes it is! I'm hoping mine has survived the winter. No buds on it yet.

Very pretty, Susan. Yours looks rather young and very fresh. It probably is great for you since you have more humidity and a lot more rain. My mature specimen is full of old, yellow leaves and the flowers are small and dry-looking after our 96+ degrees "spring" weather. Fortunately it's a tough rose and bounces back, although the two years of drought have taken their toll. Yours hopefully will be problem-free and give you great pleasure. I still love mine, warts and all.

Seil, I bet yours made it...seems the buds came on and then BANG it bloomed....

I too am awaiting blooms. We stayed cool for so much longer than usual all of my roses are a bit behind. I do have a few very small buds. Yours is looking beautiful Susan!

Great rose, pretty pic. I was thinking of creating a small hedge out of them. Peter Beales has written that he was convinced this rose has a well developed sense of humour! Does it set hips?
