This is one of my favorite photos of the flush so far. Of course, now I have cut these back and they are spotting. But OH the romance! The beauty! The swoon...... Susan
A lovely photo of a very refined rose that combines so many qualities: bloom form, color, and scent. Wow. Do I see a redder rose blooming behind MIP in the photo? Another bourbon perhaps?
Thanks you all. I wish it would stay like that year around...but then I would likely take it for granted. In my opinion the spring flush should be called the spring "overwhelm". WOW. I'd never experienced that before. Larry: I believe that is Alfred Colomb blooming behind MIP but I can't find the tag. I know Svr. du President Lincoln is in there....and one more. There is a crimson and then more of a purple. I think the moss Capitaine John Ingram is in there....but I didn't see much moss... I need to get out my order form. I remember I ordered them all at the same time from RVR. And they are on their own roots. This time last year they were bands! Susan
