| Does anyone have information about Romaggi Plot Bourbon? There is really nothing about it at HMF. The name suggests it was found in a cemetery. Which one? Did it appear to have been planted there, or was it more likely a volunteer seedling? Who found it? When? Any clues as to its identity? And how does the alternate name, Angels Camp Bourbon, fit in? I'm really liking this little rose. It's like a mini-Bourbon.

| Many people have collected roses in the California Gold country cemeteries. Don't know who first collected it. But it is growing in a cemetery in Angels Camp. I've seen the 'mother' plant, it is in shade and not impressive at all. I would not be surprised if the mother plant disappears at some point in the future. The plant is growing in a plot for the Romaggi family and was likely planted there years ago. Don't know if anyone has a tentative ID. There is not one that I have heard proposed. |

| Thanks for the info. That explains the two names. (I thought maybe it had been found in more than one location.) |
