Rose ID?

I'm wondering if anyone can ID the climber that is growing at my new house. It is growing about half shaded by a big oak and a hedge, throwing right up into the branches above it and honestly is blooming more on a shady side than the sunny side. The roses are small the canes fairly red where they are new. The had thorns, especially on the main canes. Has likely been growing pretty much wild for quite a while cause all the garden beds are seriously neglected. It reminds me a lot of my old Cecile Bruner, aside from the vast size difference in the bush that is. ;) What do you all think?

It looks very much like the climbing form of Cecile Brunner.

I agree. It does look like Cecile. Kim

Another vote for Climbing Cecile Brunner from me. She can get very big. I envy you your new friend - what a beauty! Love that wild-growing look too, it suits her. Seriously neglected = in this case, seriously gorgeous! The only drawback with the climbing form, I believe, is less repeat bloom than the bush.

I have climbing Cecile Brunner growing mostly in the shade and she repeats quite well. And, yes, I agree with the ID too.

I love it! Going to show this photo to my new baby and tell her to get busy.

Thank you all! Have pruned out a couple dead canes but otherwise going to leave her to grow however she pleases. :)
