Apothecary/Rosa Mundi search

I have mustered together all the sources that I can find in search for Apothecary Rose and/or Rosa Mundi. I have missed the shipping dates and find *out of stock* on the websites who carry this rose.
I would appreciate any advice on possibly obtaining this rose this year.
If anyone grows it in the Raleigh, NC area or its surroundings, I'd be grateful in hearing from you.

Thank you,
Patty

You can try again for Autumn -- many nurseries stop shipping now because of Summer heat, but resume when the peak of Summer has passed.

Waiting until fall may well be your best strategy. Roses shipped in hot weather can die on the way due to the heat. Unless you know someone who has one of these roses and will allow you to take a cutting, you may not have a choice. If they are growing on their own roots they will sucker, so digging up a rooted sucker is also a possibility. You would have to baby such suckers. They are still quite dependent on the parent plant and can die easily. The best strategy is to sever them without digging the up, then come back later and dig them up once they are fully independent.

Rosa Mundi in particular is a favorite of mine. It often reverts to the Apothecary Rose, so one plant may get you two cultivars for the price of one. (You won't want to let it go. On my own plant the Apothecary Rose took over.)

If you know anyone driving across country, I have a pile of Apothecary's Rose starts. I just dug up and moved the parent plant but have a small forest of the offspring in the old bed. Carol

I'd be willing to take a chance on a piece of that forest sent USPS Priority mail please?
Please email me, if you be so kind, privately, so as not to take this subject off topic. If you don't prefer this, I thank you for the response to my request anyway, Carol.
