Seedlings and volunteers: what's new?

I personally don't have anything new since Fogrose posted this query last July (unless that little seedling I recently mangled while installing another rose nearby recovers!), but I do have an update on my puny Nastarana seedling and was wondering what else anyone has to report? Some of the seedlings and volunteers shown last summer were pretty amazing and all were interesting!

Here's what my seedling looked like last July:

Here's the plant now (8" tall). Thus far, it is very bushy (4 new basals just starting) and floriferous (this is its second flush already this year, blooms a lot). The flowers are smaller and pinker than Nastarana, about 1 1/4" diameter, but have Nastarana's great scent. I'm looking forward to seeing how big the plant gets and its mature habit.

It looks like a nice rose. I have so many volunteers that I don't know what to do with them anymore. There is a really nice rambler that I am excited about. I need to take a photo. It is a red single with a white eye. I called it Red Molly. It came up next to a pond and fountain. I'm just training it around the perimeter.

While I have lots of volunteers of perennials and annuals, I have never had a volunteer rose seedling. I would be so excited if I did.

Floridarose, volunteer rose seedlings truly are such a thrill -- breathless anticipation of the first bloom and after that watching how the plant develops. Enough thrills for this person with low excitement needs, anyway.

And, yes, the plant is wonderfully healthy, Seil and Anne, like Nastarana here. The flowers are not drop-dead flashy, but it's pleasing to see its bunches of apple blossom-like flowers all summer long. I'm looking forward to hearing about Red Molly, mendocino rose.
