Rose Growers, Years ago I bought my first old rose from Roses of Yesterday and Today... Celsiana. I no longer have it and want to replace it. I would order it from Pickering, except their picture doesn't look like what I grew. Pickering's photo shows more petals and looks like they have more substance. Has anyone ordered the 'Pickering Celsiana'? Here is Pickering's online picture, below. Sorry about the graininess of the photo! I will repost to show a picture from a European nursery that looks exactly like what I want. Any input on where I should purchase? Thanks in advance, Bob

Bob, I've never ordered Celsiana from Pickering, but the photo doesn't look right to me either--even allowing for climate and individual bloom differences. If I were thinking of ordering, I'd first shoot Pickering an email with photos of your Celsiana (which looks spot on to me) and theirs side by side. Reps can tell you if the photo on their website is off. You may have spotted a glitch that the nursery needs to correct. Sometimes websites post an incorrect photo in a designated space. Carol

Carol, Thanks for your input. Great idea! I'll see if Pickering will double-check their pictures. Bob

Agree. Your 'Celsiana' looks like mine, too, and different from Pickering's. I hope you find it and can grow it again: it's a great rose! Melissa
