 o
'Marianne'--any sucking/stolon spreading?

Just a quick question about Paul Barden's gallica 'Marianne'--does she sucker/produce wayward canes like many other gallicas? I have a tiny garden with some awkward spots, so I need to know before I settle her into a new bed. Thanks so much! Carol

Nope, not at all. As it is technically only 1/4 Gallica, it lost that trait, lucky for you. :-)

Sweet! Thank you, Paul.

Also, I just realized my hastily typed title say "sucking" not "suckering," but I can't edit it. Oh, well. A little humorous error to lodge itself in forum history?

She knew you were a sucker for her....
