The Art of Deadheading

I find deadheading a pleasurable pass time.
Be it to snip a bloom to arrange a bouquet;
Or the death of a bloom, life cycle. The End. Fin.

I love to dead head, it's a de-stressor for me. Plus I'm a recent "empty nester" so it makes me feel like I am still needed lol.

I, too, enjoy deadheading....especially roses that hang on to their dead petals. Even though I love gardens that are a mix of fresh blooms and spent ones, I find myself ruthlessly removing spent blooms, hips and seed heads.
