Considered a has nice fragrance & form. It produces clusters like a lot of Bourbons I believe someone on here told me they believed it had Bourbon heritage! I'm surprised it's not more common.

How very pretty! It's nice to see the progression from bud to (almost) open flower.

That's gorgeous!!! I've never seen it in person. How does it perform for you?

RE: Madame Wagram

I was thinking that it took 3 years to establish from a band but has now taken off nicely. I'ts in a spot where I used to have La France which was a great rose by bloom but very bs prone.foliage
This gets some but nothing like La France or Caroline Testout or a lot of other Older HT I have owned over the years.
In the last 2 years I got a bloom here or there so far it's had a spring flush and now has this cluster of 4 buds each on 2 of it's 3 canes.

She's so lovely- I really like that yellowish shading I see on the inner petals in the first 2 photos...

I agree that she ought to be grown more.
