Glorious rose and a wonderful picture. I don't have one right now, and despite the need for winter protection here in Indiana, and some mildew, it was worth all the work when I grew it at our old house. Big, fragrant blooms from every bud when pegged.

Thanks for sharing! Bob

She's a real looker! It's nice to see which roses do well in this area, and she's clearly thriving.

Wow - Those are gorgeous, that's one lovely rose!

It's good to know that there are places where this beauty is not troubled by fungal problems. She must be among the most fragrant of roses.

Wow! How's her blackspot resistance on your coast? She spots here, but I've grown her in the past just 'cause she's so darn voluptuous and fragrant! Lovely photo! Big sigh.... Carol

Makes me wish I still had mine. Thanks for a great reminder of years of fond memories with this one. I can still almost imagine the exact fragrance!

Chiming in again....
Blackspot is always an issue here in the coastal plain of South Carolina. Mme Isaac would have the spot if I didn't spray the fungicides.

Good thing she's one of my favorite roses, so I do what I have to do to keep her free of disease.
