Went out in to the garden today and took these photos:
First photo is Jude the Obscure looking really peachy:

2nd photo is a bud of Charlotte showing her color in bud. The bloom is a lemon yellow for a couple of days. Also a faded bloom:

Next photo is Golden Celebration looking really peachy too:

Pat Austin is not the color seen in catalogs (not yet anyway). The fade is the prettiest of all of these, imho. Spreads out like an old HT.

The great thing about these roses is that the colors change depending upon so many weather factors. Jude was very BUFF in the cool spring. GC was truly golden. Charlotte held her pretty lemon color longer.
All of these roses get 6 hours or more sun.

Susan thanks for the photos, beautiful blooms. I have GC and he was much more golden in the spring and now with the heat looks exactly like yours. I think your Pat Austin is so pretty, I love her color. Nice to see Jude and Charlotte too! I love them all lol.

Lovely pics. My Gruss an Aachen is very changeable, it's interesting to see the different shades.

Great to see the comparisons, Susan! Jude is one I've never given much thought to, due to its reputation for becoming a monster in warm climates...but I smelled him for the first time last week, and now I feel I must find a place for him in my garden...I have no idea where that would be, but I MUST find a place for him :)
