Came across this EXQUISITE rose reviewing my England photos from last year. Does anyone grow this?
Wonder what it would look like in my climate?
It was breathtaking there!

I got it last year. Like it a lot - I didn't let it bloom last year, wanted it to work on growing roots. This year, it leafed out beautifully and had blooms all over it. I cut it back a couple of weeks ago - it is now leafing out again and has a few blooms. I think this one may become a one of my favorite Austins.

Thanks Judith. Does it look similar to the photo I shared?

It does indeed. I have mine planted in the same area as Charles Rennie McIntosh and Ambridge Rose - Princess Anne has healthier foliage, is an all around healthier plant. I think when this one gets some age on it, it will be quite tough and free flowering. Another one I like is Englands Rose - same kind of healthy foliage - its a smaller rose, and I am trying to get the roots growing so don't let it bloom as much as it would like. Don't hear much about it, but it does well for me.

Fantastic! I'm seriously considering replacing a cutting bed with an Austin bed. Do you grow any Austin's that are good for cut flowers?
