Hello Fellow Rose Lovers, I originally posted this in the "Name That Rose Forum" and have not received any replies. I'm currently container growing roses on the steps of my apartment in Central Florida. I initially thought it was Graham Stuart Thomas, which I grew nearly 25 years ago back home, as the buds and flowers start out pure yellow. However, the flowers open to a buff which fades to a creamy white. The petals fall off quickly; as do most Austins. It has a faint Tea rose and maybe vanilla fragrance, which I've not experienced in roses. It is nearly thorn-less and possesses wonderful medium green and disease free foliage. It is in constant flower and portrays a very erect growth habit, which I'm currently trying to train as a pillar. All advice it greatly appreciated.

Here is another picture of my mystery rose in a bouquet with Chrysler Imperials and Mr. Lincoln. Is it possible to upload more than one picture with a post? Thanks, Jack

My Windermere is almost thornless too, so I'd vote for Windermere.

Your rose is lovely, but doesn't have nearly enough petals to be Claire. Claire also has thorns, and for me, was not erect for the first couple of months. She does bloom continuously. Here's a picture: jannike

jannike, Your Claire is lovely. Thanks for replying. I now know that my rose is not Claire Austin.
