| Has anyone heard from Florence/Zeffy Rose lately? I dropped her an e-mail a few weeks ago and did not get a reply. I hope everything is OK with her.
Thanks! |
Follow-Up Postings:

| I don't think I've seen her posting on the forum recently. I'm also rather worried since it's not like her to stay away too long. Ingrid |
|
| I was wondering too, I hope she is okay. |

| I've been thinking about Florence lately and worrying too. |
|
| I was wondering the same. Do I remember rightly that her husband was unwell? Kay |

| Still no word from Florence? I sure hope all is well. She's such a little sweetheart. |
|
| I thought I had seen a post from her within the past couple of weeks, but I don't know where it could be. Florence, I hope you see this post, and answer. She is quite involved with her family, and hopefully she is visiting them, and will respond soon. I looked for her in the Roses Conversation Forum and that is pathetic. I wish we could renew it. That would give us a place for visits with those who don't actively garden much anymore. Sammy |

| She lives in a part of the world that has been having interesting weather lately. I'm sure she has a lot on her mind just now. Rosefolly |

| Florence emailed me this morning to say she would check in today. I am sure she will, but do not know when. Sammy |

| You have all touched my heart---thanks so much for your concern--- Most recently we were without power for a few days--Bob has a generator which helped with the important electric items---he also has a small propane cookstove which helped----not very much damage from Irene in this immediate area---- earlier in the summer we jouned BIL and 23 family members for a vacation in the Pocono Mtns Haven't been spending much time on the computer lately---still have a problem with back if I sit too long----- Carol I've been worried about your place on LBI----hope all is well It has been a busy summer----DH brother rented a place for the family in the Pocono Mtns ---we were there with 23 family members---it was nice My DD is still struggling with the divorce --it will be 4 years in Sept-----it has been very painful for all of us---remember---Sept 2007 when I had my second hip replacement----DD was here taking care of me and her DH walked out on her- I think my 81 years have been taking a toll on me--very little energy since second back surgery in 2010----but I'm still not complaining ---too many folks in much worse shape than I am---- I have much to be thankful for----I will try to check in more often---I miss all of you-- I too miss "conversations" we had such a good group over there--- Thanks again for all you concern---- Florence |

| Hi Florence - You'd been on my mind and I slipped over here to look for you a few days ago. I'm so glad you turned up (!) and put all our minds at ease, happily just 'life' getting in the way. Our summer has been crazy busy too - 49 days of guests from Croatia. I'm not even saying 'how'd it get to be September' - I KNOW how it got to be September. Like everyone, I think of you often... |

| Florence, I'm glad to see that you are ok and no longer MIA. Know that we are thinking of you and hoping that things smooth out for you and your daughter very soon. |

| So happy to hear from you Florence. I had a funny summer too. It started with my wonderful trip to France and England then I was horrified at the stae of my garden when I returned. I've been working like crazy ever since trying to bring some order into it. You'll be happy to hear that my DD(Rose) is going to have a baby. I'll be a grandmother at last! |
|
| Thank goodness we know now that you're okay, Florence. The forum wouldn't be the same without you. You're the grande dame of our little group and much loved. I'm so happy for you Pam! Congratulations on the soon-to-be new addition to the family. In a very few years you'll have a little person following you around the garden and "helping". Ingrid |
