Anyone have Gloire de Guilan in their garden?

Got one coming from the heirloom sale. Just wanted to get some info about it from people.

Very, very thin petals. Very much like tissue paper, so they have little substance. It also doesn't seem to be the hardiest rose in the world. We thought we lost it once, and replaced it with something else, but it came back.

Mine dies back to the ground most years but it keeps coming back. I'm one zone colder than you though.
