Diane, Old Town Novato took my breath away; what a sumptuous rose. I can just imagine the fragrance. Figi at the end was a delightful surprise. Since I lost my beloved cat last August my arms just long to hold one. Figi would be a perfect candidate. Roses are wonderful but they can't purr.

Old Town Novato is indeed a heart stealer. I really hope it makes it's way into more widespread commercial offering.

Jeri, I'm assuming it's the Albas that you can't grow. I have a theory about why Albas and Gallicas are growing in my garden that I'll post later as another topic.
