Just wanted to get in one more reminder of our sale this coming Saturday. Even if you don't want to buy roses, come hang out with rose lovers, see the garden in the peak of fall rebloom, see an amazing variety of hips, hear a talk on growing roses in drought conditions. I can even show you our hidden area of some really wonderful roses growing in much more wild condition than the rest of the garden.

Oh how I wish I could fly to California and buy jeanne d'arc. I hope everyone has a good time.

I was going to email and ask, but do you need any donations of books for raffles or a sales table? I discovered two books I have two of and thought I would bring then if you do

Thanks, Kippy, but we're not doing a raffle or other sales this year. Just roses.

If anyone wants to keep the roses alive. I would pay for shipping and extra to get my hands on Jeanne d'arc.

I'm also hoping to get Jeanne d'arc. If I get it will gladly send cuttings when plant is mature enough.

Kippy, am hoping to meet you. I'll be there early.

We'll be leaving early in the morning, and look forward to seeing everyone. This time, I plan to take pictures. :-)

We're bringing an 'Aimee Vibert' from the Sacramento City Cemetery, to contribute to the sale. It's a Legacy Plant in the cemetery, and gorgeous there. But in our conditions, the blooms don't open well. It should go where it can fulfill its' promise.

And, for Jo Pyeweed, we are bringing the Atmore Lamarque, that we promised.

(And, Jill, we are bringing the promised Fairmount Proserpine -- well-grown, and ready to go into the ground.)

I made a hotel reservation for tomorrow so I only have the last hour to drive on Saturday AM. I plan on getting there early too. I am looking forward to meeting all of you there!

Looking forward to seeing again those rosey friends I have met before, and to meeting those I have not yet met. If you don't know what I look like, be on the lookout for curly red hair.

Nice to see some rosey friends today; Jill, Jeri, Susan, Catspa, Rosefolly and Kippy!!!

Even though I got there an hour before opening Susan was there first and nabbed the only plant of Jeanne d'Arc but I did get Bald Mountain HP/HT, Edith Perry, a seedling of Bon Silene named after Jill Perry's mother and a gorgeous plant in bloom of Aimee Vibert from the Sacramento Cemetery plant brought by Jeri so not too shabby. Sorry I missed Anita but had to leave before she arrived.

Great to see all of you there! When I left, Kippy was only halfway through taking pictures in the garden. I hope she posts a bunch of them. It was a perfect day- warm but not hot, lots of roses in bloom in the garden.
