I'm wondering if anyone here grows these two and has pictures to show size and shape of mature plants. HelpMeFind doesn't have much more than flower shots of 'Indigo', and being as there are several different roses sold under the name of 'Rose du Roi', I don't know which are of the "original" version sold by Vintage Gardens (which I have). If anyone does have pics, in addition to posting them here, would you also be so kind as to upload them to HelpMeFind for others (and indicate "original" or "from Vintage Gardens" for 'Rose du Roi')? Thanks in advance. :-) ~Christopher

I grow Indigo, and my plant is about 4 feet tall and wide, with long arching canes. I've seen it grow quite a lot taller than that. I don't have a picture...but If the light is good tomorrow, I'll take one. It suckers like MAD. Zachary.

I love Indigo! The color is fascinating and it is very disease resistant here in blackspot country. For me, in a location that gives it a bit too much shade, it is one-and-a-half to three feet high ... depending on whether I'm looking at an older cane or one of the sickers. Two feet seems to be about average. With Indigo, suckering is a good thing. It gives me the opportunity to easily share this rose with friends. Rose du Roi, whether it is the supposed-original version or the one said to be of commerce, isn't worth my time here. It's okay, but I wouldn't buy it again.
