Mine is temporarily in a large pot. She blooms often, and I just love her.

It's obvious the handsome Mr. Murphy has a good life. I'm surprised at the light pink shade of your rose. Mine in a previous garden was always much darker, probably due to lower humidity and higher temps. I quite like the paler version but I'm sure the one I ordered will be darker also in my hot garden. Thank you for posting all the lovely pictures of different roses. You must have quite a garden and we'd love to see more of the total picture. Ingrid

Lovely! Mr. Murphy looks like a terrific companion in the garden. Jay

Mme. Lombard has been that sort of light pink here, also -- just since the horrible heatwave began. As the temperatures normalize, she'll go back to her more-colorful appearance. Jeri

Shouldn't that be 'Mme Lambard'?
RE: Madame Lombard
| | |
It SHOULD, shouldn't it? If I am writing, or thinking of it for my own reference, I always think of it as "Lambard." But it is so commonly spelled (illogically, I think) as "Lombard" -- I am somewhat intimidated. :-) Jeri
