| I'm pretty sure you can do organics like Neptune almost any time. It's really only the chemical fertilizers that they recommend you stop earlier. But I continue fertilizing right up to dormancy. I don't want them going into winter under fed. Yes, they may push some new growth late that will freeze and die but they'll do that anyway most likely. As long as the weather conditions permit it they will continue to grow fed or not. If you don't feed them they'll be using stored energy for that late growth and will have less to come back with in the spring. |
