The Quarry Hill botanical garden in Glen Ellen (just No of Sonoma) is hosing a speech by Dr. Wang Guoliang about Chinese heritage roses (he is China's foremost expert) on Oct 25th. They are taking reservations - attendance at the speech is $15 for non-members. Their website is "quarryhillbg.org", and the phone no is 707-996-3166.

I just made reservations - they say space is limited. I have heard that he is a very good speaker -

Jackie

Jackie and Ann, as you might know I am in Australia and will not be attending the talks. As mentioned in another thread here earlier, is there anyway of having the talk recorded with the Dr's permission and posted here somehow for those members like myself unable to attend, just a thought. Regards David.

David - that is a question you might want to address to the Quarry Hill Botanical Garden - see their web site address above.

I'm going. I'll be happy to see Paula and Jackie. I hope you are going early to look at the garden. I've never been there.
