| Last Saturday, we cleaned up all the sale roses at the Heritage, and found a couple of changes from what's in the catalog. First, we discovered a plant labeled Bald Mountain White. I identified that plant as Gloire Lyonnaise, a rose we already have at the garden. It's spectacular there, where we have one growing as a large shrub, and the other trained as a climber. Second, we discovered the plants labeled Lorrie Freeman are actually a multiflora rambler that has come up in its place. It's a nice rambler if you have room for it, and I found bloom on it, so it's not just a once bloomer. Jill |
