Beautiful! I hope someone can name her.

Very unique form! I do not know this rose, and look forward to learning its identity.

It's a young flower, right? So it may settle into a different shape, but I have seen "Natchitoches Noisette" do that reflexing thing, and I don't even grow her- yet. Have a look at the photos at HMF for her. I'm uploading one photo here that shows a bit of that reflexing. I'm looking at the flower at the top of the photo... When I first posted photos of "NN" for an ID, most suggestions revolved around 'Old Blush' and sports. I think they look VERY similar in photos, but I haven't seen 'OB' in person to compare. I wonder if anyone who has grown 'OB' could comment about whether they've seen that petal refexing? Good luck with the ID, but that's a beautiful rose, regardless of her name... Virginia

Were you having really hot weather when it opened? I find roses often reflex more than normal when the temps are high. Since our late spring, summer and early fall temps are usually in the 90s here, even cupped roses will reflex. Bummer because I like the cupped shape.

NN was my first thought on first seeing the photo as well. Not sure, but it just seemed right.

I have a serious flower crush on "Natchitoches Noisette', does it show? I wasn't going to buy any more roses this year, but I may need to make an exception here. Does anyone grow both "NN" and 'Old Blush'? I'm curious about how similar/ dissimilar they are? Thanks,

Virginia, it is funny that you are talking about NN and Old Blush and your interest in these two roses. I was talking to a friend a few days ago about my love of Natchitoches Noisette and she was telling me that one rose she will never be without in a garden is Old Blush. This is someone who is very knowledgeable about OGRS and has a nice collection of them and when she sang Old Blush's praises, I decided I am getting Old Blush this fall! I don't know how Old Blush does in other areas, but in Texas she is very loved. I will say that, in my opinion, the blooms of NN are the more beautiful of the two; however. as in all things, beauty is found in different attributes of each object. Molly
