We finally got some rain!

It showered last night, and the weather today was beautiful. Hot and sunny but not the usual blast furnace we have during the summer. I wish I could've shared it all with y'all who are hurtin' for rain too right now. Ambridge Rose sure appreciated it.

We got some too and it was indeed wonderful! Not really enough to do much good but it was so nice to get all the dust washed off everything.

Yes, that rain was wonderful!

Josh, I tried to send you a message but it wouldn't go through...

That's a stunning picture, Josh. I'm happy for you and hope you get even more rain that will go deep into the soil.

Hooray, we got a bit more than half an inch this afternoon! Ground soaked it right up and dont think it went deep enough to help the roses, but just the cooling effect and getting the grass watered was wonderful! It was 100 today, so the weather said.......

Yes, we got no more than a shower as well. But just the feel of the air afterwards made a difference! It chased away the mid-day "simmering" long enough to give the roses a chance.

I'm looking forward to the fall showers.

Your photo of Ambridge Rose just glows with delicate beauty, Josh. Rain does make a difference, and hose water just doesn't compare. We got rain today, too, plus a much needed cool down. We went from heat and drought to warnings about flash floods in the hills where we live (none happened), and I'm loving not having to water for a couple of days. Diane
