Hi all,

I am in love with a rose that grows at my aunt's house in Santa Cruz CA, and would like to know her name. I posted a description and pictures to the 'Name That Rose!' forum last week, but there isn't much activity over there. She looks like an old HT to me, (perhaps Climbing Etoile de Hollande?). I hope that someone here will recognize her and help me out.

She is fragrant, repeat blooming, and has a strong caning habit like an HT. The flower color is a velvety bluey-red that doesn't really come through in the photos. I included more details about the plant in my original post here.

I just want to say that I lurk around here all the time, and I really appreciate all of your collective knowledge. I'm just starting to plant some old roses in my Livermore, CA garden, and hopefully I will have more to contribute to the board as my garden progresses.
