I'm sorry to hear that you have to get rid of your roses, Geodave. Maybe you cold just keep a couple of minis in pots that would be easier to store in the garage for winter/

I might mention that most of these varieties are easy to propagate from cuttings. Would it be possible to offer cuttings to help keep the varieties going? I know that's not what you were thinking of, but the thought of digging out climbers is intimidating. I don't know what propagation season is in your part of the world.

Have you tried posting on Craigslist? You'll get more responses there, especially since it's local. you're not local to me, or I might swing by! I thought about asking for a cutting, but you said you're busy. I posted my orange day lilies in the Free section on Craigslist, and people emailed me like crazy, so I can't imagine what they'll do for a rose collection!! Too bad you have to give it up, but I'd be careful about letting people dig on your property - have the utilities marked by the pros.

Your local rose society will take them for sure.
