Arranging the Generals

I have just received a plant of General Schablikine, and need to move a plant of General Gallieni. Size matters here. I have a spot against the back fence where I plant climbers and very large shrubs. I also have an opening in the Olive Tree Garden for a medium sized shrub.

In a California Bay Area garden, which one would you place where, if this were your garden?

I would put generals at the back end of my house.

Here is a link that might be useful: Buy dinner table set online

I don't know the other General but here Gen. Gallieni is quite large. I could easily tie it to a fence.

FIrst, I am so jealous you got General Schablikine! Mine decided to die at RU rather than come to CA...lol

Because I am going to try again in spring for one, I spent a bit of time looking at the incredible ones at the garden in San Jose. It was taller than me, a surprise since I thought it would be smaller. I did not see a Gen. Gallieni, but maybe it had swallowed the name marker?

How tall is yours Mendocino? I think I will leave my end of the tea garden open just for them.

Kippy, my General Schablikine came from ARE. You might be able to get it now rather than wait until spring if you are eager. I checked, and they still have it in stock.

Okay then, General G on the fence and General S in the Olive Tree bed. Thanks for the responses.
