Were you at the plant sale, Kitty? I went on Saturday and took note of Souvenir de St. Anne's fragrance as well. It was wonderful. I can't tell you anything about the rose, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much was blooming on the whole in the Rose Garden.

For us, it is a substantially more vigorous rose than SDLM, reaching perhaps twice the size in a growing season. It flowers almost constantly.

Here in Northern California it is the same size as SDLM and blooms all season. I think it's a wonderful rose.

S. do St. Anne, is an all time great rose, even better than its wondrous parent. It will outbloom most white floribundas except Iceburg, and is far more beautiful in flower and bush than Iceburg.

If you live in a place where it can grow it you need to have it.

I didn't know on advance about the plant sale and I saw what the weather had done for my roses and wanted to go see what the Huntington roses were doing. I bought some warm climate bulbs and new to me iris. I think it's funny that they have the sculptor who is restoring the tree branch arbor sculpting two giant tree stumps for the rose beds. One was finished in the center of the Julia Child bed and the other was halfway sculpted. That rose garden looked like spring to me. Congrats Huntington crew!
