I'm quite new on this forum that I find VERY interesting. One of my best discovery in it, is this link to Carolyn's blog. In Europe I don't think many people know about it.
Her photos are fabulous and her bouquets so gorgeous !
Thank you gardenwebbers for sharing this with me.

Here's my last arrangement with still many roses in the garden :

Roses 1

Roses 2

Roses 3

Roses :

The Prince
Charles Rennie Mac Intosh
The Fairy
Scepter d'Isle
Wildeve

+ Eupatorium rugosum Chocolate and Parthenocissus Henryana

Your bouquet is beautiful!! I also love Carolyn's blog. I fell for her style when I was given her book "R is for Rose", and I've followed her ever since. The link to her blog is below.

Isabelle, that's beautiful! Worthy of Carolyn I would say. I love Rose Notes. R is For Rose is what I would call an inspirational rose book.

I love not only the bouquet but the interesting presentation with the pine cones and the unique base. It's very seasonal and out of the ordinary.

I just pulled 'R is for Rose' out of the tall stack that I'm donating to a charity book sale. After thumbing thru it one last time, I have to agree with Mendocino Rose. The book is inspirational rather than an informative. If you're into the Alexandra Stoddard/Martha Stewart/Carolyne Roehm approach to life and gardening, then you'll probably LOVE 'R is for Rose'.

Dear Jaxondel,

I'm not fond of Stoddard and Rhoem : too commercial looking. You shouldn't mix all what has a "beauty-approach".
I admit that one of my first "gardening" book was L'Art de Vivre selon Martha Stewart in French and influenced me a lot.
However I think Carolyn Parker is very different from Stoddard and Rhoem : she just wants to share her passion for roses. She doesn't want to sell you a book to teach how to educate your kids, no, she's just sharing nice pictures. I love her blog !
