Pink color sport on my 'Monsieur Tillier'

To my utter amazement and delight I noticed a pink rosebud on my 'Monsieur Tillier'
The bud is light pink, the hue of Duchess de Brabant shading to medium coral-pink on the lower third to the base.
I don't know how to post photos on the Internet, and I 'm hoping my neighbor who does will be back in town in the next couple of days so you can see photos of it.
The color sport bud is quite fragrant, and the leaves and armature appear to be identical with the rest of the plant. There are no other rosebushes in that bed, so there is no possibility of it being a different rose cultivar, and it is own-root, so it cannot be rootstock.
The cane it grew upon shot up rapidly, so I'm hoping the rose color sport is vigorous.
My first thought is to propagate it a.s.a.p., but considering it more, I'll see if any canes near it sport pink and coral rose blossoms before I risk a single cutting on striking.

Gosh I'm so excited!
Has a pink color sport of 'Monsieur Tillier' ever been documented before?

Lux

The thing is, though, MT can be fairly changeable, with weather. Be sure to mark that cane, and watch to see if it continues to produce blooms in that color. Then, if it does, you'll want to propagate it.

I hope it's a sport for you Lux but my MT has gotten lighter blossoms from time to time. Not "pink" but a more washed out color than the normal brick red.

I've seen very light colors on Mons Tillier many times. Especially on young plants. Unless it repeats this color, I'm doubtful that it is a sport. More likely reflects the mutable colors present in most tea roses. The cooler temps may have affected the color.
