| I think one of the most beautiful roses, ever. We had one, but it did not like our climate - evidently many of the old once blooming European OGRs need much more WInter chill than we have, and I'm guessing she may be one of them. So, you might plant her where it is likely to be colder in the WInter. Blooms on old wood, so should be pruned right after she stops blooming. Prune only gently. I hope you have good luck with her - one of the roses I most regret loosing, but for whatever reason, she hated it in my garden (we averaged one bloom per year - a really unhappy rose here!). | I can only agree with Trospero and Jackie. No winter-chill, no bloom. Pity. Instead, check out 'Mme. Plantier,' which is more forgiving of mild climates. Jeri |
