Question About Fall Bands

I just got some beautiful bands from Vintage. I plan to pot them in gallon pots tomorrow. It has been in the 70-80's here in east Texas but we are supposed to get 34 degrees in a couple of days. I plan to put them in the greenhouse during the short freeze - no more freezing weather is predicted for at least a week. I had thought to climitize them and leave them outside but am wondering if I should leave them out in nice weather but bring them in when weather freezes. Would appreciate some input on how to treat them with winter on the way and what to do with them when "real" winter arrives. Thanks!
Judith

Did you ask your question of Vintage? Seems to me Gregg and/or Gita would be the best people to address your question to.

RE: Question About Fall Bands

I guess ultimately, I agree with landperson--the best source is to ask Vintage since they know the conditions the bands came from.

However, fwiw, I repot bands into larger containers and leave them outside. I suppose if I had just gotten them and I knew it was going to get really cold, I would bring them into the garage for those couple of nights but I wouldn't do it for long. I've never lost a band during the winter from this.

I have also piled leaves around the pots if I thought it was going to get really really cold during the few winter nights that it gets down in the 20s or less here in Atlanta. Everything has done fine.
