I sat down yesterday morning to go through my photos and write a blog post about my experience last weekend at the HRF conference in Lakeland. For us visual types, it includes about three dozen photos showing all sorts of things that we did over the course of the four days. If you weren't there, you missed something really special. Take this as encouragement to do what you can to attend the next big US-based rose event (Rosedango and the dedication of the Anne Belovich Rambler Garden in Chambersville, Tx., May 3-4, 2014). (The photo is 'Papa Gontier' in the garden at Rose Petals Nursery ... the first stop on our bus tour on Friday.)

Thanks, Connie. Do you know if Sherry made it, I know she was looking forward to going.

You are very welcome! We met up with Sherry on Friday at the Rogers' garden. It was such a treat to squeal and give her a big hug in person!!

Connie, loved the blog, loved the pictures (especially since I hardly took any myself). Rosefolly

Connie, your beautiful photo of Papa Gontier is my favorite, but I enjoyed looking at your blogs about the Hollywood Cemetery also, although sad about some of the beautiful roses that are no longer there. Everything changes, but how fortunate that you're keeping an eye on things there. I especially enjoyed the pictures of the Dudley ranch, a wonderful step back in time. Ingrid
