| I wanted to let you know that DH and I should be able - if God is willing and the creek don't rise - to see you all at the dessert buffet on Friday, the 15th. That's the Garden Tour day of the HRF Conference. The Marion County Rose Society is doing the dessert social in lieu of our monthly meeting to support the Heritage Rose Foundation. It will be at the home of two of our members who just recently got moved into their "new" home that they have worked hard to recondition on several acres where they planted 300-400 roses that they had been nurturing pending the move to their new place. I'm excited to see it. I'm told they have two buses going on the tour (and more individuals driving) that also includes the Rose Petals Nursery (Cyd has made lots of wonderful improvements there) and the Dudley State Historic Park. And even in my poor garden the roses are blooming here. For me it's only about a 40 minute drive, and Don and Jan have told me there's no problem accommodating DH's wheelchair. One more case in the long, long list of lovely rose people!! I'm very excited to be seeing everyone (you ARE all coming, aren't you?) from GW and MCRS. Be there or be square! Sherry |

| Thanks, Ingrid. We had a doctor's appointment today, and DH is so much stronger, getting in and out of the truck better and taking steps. The last two days have been really good ones. Sherry |
