Happy Birthday, Florence. These roses are for you. They were so pretty on the bush that I just couldn't pick them for a bouquet, so you'll have to enjoy the entire bush instead. : )

Happy Birthday fine lady. With thanks to you I have enjoyed Zephie for three summers now, The smell is lingering as you well know. Mine is now 7' tall be 5' wide. She would get wider but I must trim her in front in order to enter the back yard. On her right is Big Mac so they have become somewhat intertwined.
Without your urging I'd never have tried burbons.
Thanks again.

Happy Birthday, dear Florence, and may you celebrate many more in good health. I know you can't do as much in your garden as you'd like but I hope that come spring you'll still find much happiness in its beauty.

I love Daisy's in Crete and Pamela's picture that capture the magic of climbing rose on a fence ....
