Roses to go with Marie van Houtte?

I am now contemplating pulling out Monster Tillier (I have another one elsewhere), and would like advice on what roses would look good next to MVH. She is such a good performer for me, smothered in blooms, and weeping to the ground.and MT looks rather harsh against her.. Already in that area, I have Isabella Sprunt, Mme Berkeley, Francis Dubreuil, Anna Olivier, Mrs DC, Golden Dawn and Mme de Wattville. I'll have room for 2 roses when MT comes out.
The roses would be under partial shade, but that hasn't affected MT or MvH.
I've tried Rosette Delizy , Hugo Roller and General Gallieni, but, disappointingly, they balled or burnt so often, that it was rare to see an undamaged bloom.
Temperatures here go from 7C minimum in winter (and we think that's very cold!), to mid thirties in summer (with the occasional day in the 40's). Summers are humid, and last about 5 months.

For the West Coast, likely Rogue Valley or Greenmantle, but you might see if Burlington has them.

Now, the Cochets CAN ball where the weather is cool/dank. Which means that in my springs, the mostly don't open. That said, they'll open about half-way, and look really nice that way, so it doesn't bother me. In summer/fall, they open more readily.

And the great thing is, they are just so disease-free in CA. Wonderful roses. Incredibly handsome plants.

I love the roses you grow in your garden and grow many of them.
I'd plant peach and cream 'Perle d'Or' and pale yellow 'Etoille de Lyon'
near Marie Van Houtte'.
Or the bright pink H.P. 'Ulrich Brunner fils' which has a long bloom season and is one of the last roses to bloom in Autumn, along with the Old Garden Teas, here near San Francisco, California The bright pink is almost vivid, but never vulgar and would blend in nicely with the edges of M. V. H.. I would put it beside Etoille de Lyon, and leave out Perle d'Or'

Mrs. B.R. Cant, although I would only put in one since it gets so large. I like Jeri's suggestions, and wish I had at least one of those.

Luxrosa, I like the look of UB. I was so stuck on another tea, I hadn't considered HP's. And I think I will have to find another spot for a Perle D'Or.

Jeri, I was given a tiny plant of Maman Cochet this year. I moved it soon after it got a go on, but it seems to be surviving. I see HMF says it does well in shade too. My Botanica rose book says it is prone to balling in humid weather, so I will see how it goes. I had never heard of Niles Cochet, but it sounds wonderful, mounding and spreading, but I can't find it listed in Australia, under any of its pseudonyms.

Ingrid, I think I'm replacing 2 Mrs Reynolds Hole, whose blooms don't take the heat, with 2 Mrs BR Cant.

Who was Maman Cochet? Was she the mother of The Cochet family? Is the 'n' silent?
