Since there seems to be little traffic in the Antique Roses Gallery, I thought I'd point out that I just posted, for your enjoyment, a thread on the Austin roses in my garden. Please look it over--and I hope you enjoy it.

I wish that gallery showed up on the main rose forums menu! I have a hard time finding it all the time.

Kate, thanks for letting us know about your post there. I don't look there often any more but I certainly will now!

seil, that was my suggestion when we were asked for ways to make this a better place to visit. It's too inconspicuous and there's no reason we can't have the same format as the regular rose forum.

Kippy---when you come to Antique Rose Forum-----scroll down to where it says messages and directly to the right it says topics for discussions and it says "Gallery"--just click on Gallery -----

Good Luck--lots of nice pictures there.

Thanks Kate!

I had a hard time finding/seeing that link. But another link is when you come into either the Antique or regular Rose Forum, about 4 lines down from the top is a Related Links list, and Rose Gallery is one of them.

harmony, that's probably the regular Rose Gallery, not the Antique Rose Gallery. We have our own but so many people aren't aware of that. Both are very worth looking at.

I didn't know about the Antique Rose Gallery either. But I found the Rose Gallery recently and posted a picture in it. Posting pictures is so much easier since they added the option Image file to upload. Even a computer illiterate like me can do it now. But I still don't know how to add two or more photos in the same message.

Mariannese, I've never used the GW Image uploader, but my understanding from other posters is that you can only show one photo per message. However, what some people do is use the Follow-up posting to show another photo. You can evidently keep using the Follow-up postings for showing even more photos.

I upload and store my photos on photobucket.com. It is free and has easy-to-follow directions on how to upload your photos there. Then, when I want to show photos here, I copy the HTML CODE (make sure you use it, and not one of the others) and paste it over here in the Message Box. You can type before and after the HTML CODE and enter as many HTML CODES as you want--which is how most of us show multiple pictures in one post.

Hope that helps.

Kate
