I saw a photo of this in Carolyn's slideshow of Mendocinorose's beautiful garden. Is it available for sale by any vendor? It looks beautiful....

When we were up at Heirloom Roses last summer I saw it for sale. I don't know if it is available right now. They would probably be the only ones.

I would love to learn more about this rose.
Is it scented - what kind of scent?
How many petals do the flowers have - single, double, tons?
What are the size of the blooms?
What is rebloom like?
How large does it get?
Any more photos that anyone can share?

- also any other clements roses that are favorites?
Thank you!

As you could probably see from the photo of mine it is a rambler capable of scrambling into a tree. It's claim to fame are the flowers that are so unusual for a rambling rose. These are full, deep red and never fully open wide like Raubritter. To see them hanging down is so charming. No scent and no rebloom and sorry, disease resistance not good. Mine is probably 20 feet tall now. Another Clements favorite of mine is Cherries Jubilee. This is another massive cherry red once blooming climber. Here's a photo. This is covering a small pergola.

Louise Clements is one of my very favorite roses. It is a seedling of Graham Thomas, a beautiful amber color. Perhaps someone will have a photo for you.
