I have alba and damask first winter bands that i planted in the ground this summer. We got some snow here in MI. Should i bury the bands in snow? Or should i leave them alone and let them do there thing on their own. I know once established their winter hardy.

Unlike just about anything else, snow doesn't seem to do any harm. So if you feel you must do something, piling snow isn't a bad idea.

I often shovel the snow on to my roses in the winter. It makes great insulation for those early spring freeze and thaws. So the deeper it is the longer it will last on them and protect them.
