New Book

Oh I picked up a charming book yesterday at the library. After reading the first chapter and I am transported back to Venice and the Napoleon era. Don't know if it will prove this delightful in the remaining chapters but I am hopeful. The book is entitled, "Chasing the Rose: An Adventure in the Venetian Countryside by Andrea di Robilant.

It's a very nice story. I'm taking my sweet time reading it. Mostly when I go to Starbucks.

A few of us on the forum have posted info about the book. It's been out for several months now. It would make a good gift for a Rose enthusiast.

I have not been active on the site of late so I do apologize for not searching the book first. I read the thread and am still glad that I stumbled across this book.

Good thing you mentioned it again in case some folks missed it the first time. I loved this book and now I wish I could visit the garden of Eleanora and Valentine.

I agree. It is a must read for any rose enthusiast and collector.
The only thing missing are pictures rather than illustrations.
Check your Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
