I was reading different posts on this forum and discovered henry martin. Sounds like a great rose. I can not find much on this forum about it. Would love to learn more. Might be my first moss rose.

As you know, all the Moss roses love damp feet but Henri is a little more forgiving if his roots get dry. He also has a tendency to bend some canes right over to the ground. Again like all Mosses he needs rich food. In my garden he does not sucker nearly as bad a Common Moss. If this one is happy it really takes off. Both are fragrant but the Common Moss has larger and fuller blooms. To me Henri is the best of the bright carmine red Mosses.

Both are fairly tall roses to about 6 feet if happy. Henri looks smaller because of the arch like bush. Common Moos is straighter with thicker stems covered in brush like bristles.

I've found Henri to be one of the easiest mosses. Mine is in quite a bit of shade and still does very well.
