Souvenir de Victor Hugo, France 1884 will arrive on my doorstep in 2 days. I first saw a picture of this rose on rosomanes blogspot and it was my must-have! I was lucky to find availability.

Do any of you have this rose?

What are your thoughts on Grace Darling, UK 1884?

I have Souv de Victor Hugo and it's been in my garden probably 2-3 years. It is healthy for me but has not bloomed much yet. I think it will get pretty large (as most teas do). The blooms are very pretty and not too large. The blooms remind me somewhat of Rosette Delizy

It's not the healthiest tea by far (Mrs BR Cant and Mons Tillier have that honor) but I like it and hope it will get better each year.

Good luck with it and glad you are trying a rose not seen too often (and a tea!).

Thank you jaspermplants for sharing your experience.
I don't think many collectors have 'Souvenir de Victor Hugo'.
Once mine blooms, I will post photos.

UPS delivers tomorrow!!!
